Text Box: Monolithic Concrete

From the very small to luxury domes the monolithic structure is simple.

Usually the foundation is poured with reinforcing bars extended upwards. A flexible material [like PVS] is attached to the ring and then inflated with airlocks for entry. A layer of foamed insulation is sprayed on the inside. Then allowance is made for openings such as doors and windows and for structural supports. Reinforcing is constructed on the inside of the foam together with pipes for services. Finally concrete is sprayed inside. After the concrete has cured  the air pressure is released.
